OUR GIVING STATEMENT
We believe that coffee is an experience worth sharing. Sharing is woven into the fabric of our business and the organizations we choose to give to.
Rather than committing to one cause, we give to a range of non-profit organizations that align with our business values. We focus on organizations that promote accessibility, community, equality, and the environment. While we can’t give to every organization, we can support a few great causes that share our values.
We’re a small business and, unfortunately, can’t fulfill every donation request. We wish we could help everyone, but we have to prioritize where we allocate our support. When we can, we choose community- driven, secular, non-profit organizations to donate products and gift cards to throughout the year.
If your donation request aligns with our giving values described above, we’d be glad to consider it. Feel free to share your information, and if it resonates with our focus on accessibility, community, equality, and the environment, we’ll be in touch. DONATION REQUEST GUIDELINES
THINGS TO NOTE
- We review requests from 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
- Donations are offered as products, gift cards, or merchandise (not monetary contributions).
- We can’t fulfill requests from individuals, political groups, or for direct religious purposes.
- We don’t support organizations whose practices conflict with our values of accessibility, community, equality, and inclusion.
- We’re more likely to grant donation requests from people who regularly frequent our cafes.
- Past support doesn’t guarantee future donations.
- Organizations may receive one donation per year.
COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION
- Please complete the Borealis Coffee Donation Request form below.
- Be sure to attach a copy of your organization’s federally issued 501(c)(3) documentation.
- Applications and all supporting documents must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the date your donation is needed.
- We review requests within 72 hours. If your request is approved, we’ll contact you by email.
DONATION REQUEST APPLICATION
We received so many donation requests that we’ve reached our giving budget. At this time, our donation program is temporarily paused as we reassess and plan for the remainder of the year. Because of that, we’re not currently accepting donation requests.
We kindly ask that donation inquiries not be submitted via our contact form, as we’re unable to respond to them at this time.
Supporting our community is deeply important to us, and we look forward to reopening our giving program at a later date. Please check back here for updates.
