RIVERSIDE
RIVERSIDE
Our Riverside café was the first Borealis location to open its doors. Since 2016, it’s been housed in a restored 1850s train depot on the former Providence, Warren & Bristol (PW&B) railroad, a building that’s been everything from a deli to a laundromat before we gutted it to the studs and built the café we envisioned. Today, the original tracks just outside have become the East Bay Bike Path, and the café buzzes with locals, cyclists, and visitors stopping in for lattes in pint glasses, pour-overs, and cold brews to go. We’ve carefully preserved the building’s character by repointing the original masonry and replacing the doors, so the space feels both historic and alive. It’s a true gathering place for the Riverside community.
